In your work life, it's likely that most of the time you communicate in English in multi-speaker situations. You need practice listening and responding in an environment with more people.

And now, we've added a new option… You can invite a colleague, friend, or family member to join one of your lessons. For free!

Why shared lessons?

  • More like real life: Practice listening, responding, and connecting with others

  • Motivation through connection: Learning alongside someone else creates accountability. When another person is counting on you, it’s easier to keep momentum.

  • Help empower your co-workers! Some of your colleagues may be afraid to take lessons in English. When you share your lesson with them, it’s less intimidating for them. Be a role model!

  • A fresh challenge for veteran learners:  If you’ve been doing 1:1 lessons for a while, shared lessons introduce healthy variation. New dynamics can help you break through to the next level.

Shared lessons are not a replacement for 1:1 lessons. We encourage you to experience both ways. NEI lets you choose!

Try it out now–book a lesson in your NEI Schedule, then select "Shared Lesson" and invite a friend or colleague.
