Getting Started With NEI

Welcome to NEI! Here’s how you get started.

Please use a laptop or a PC to take your lessons, using the latest version of one of these browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Safari.

Please note: this registration process includes your automated English assessment and will take about 30 minutes. You will need a working headset with microphone and a quiet space where you can speak.

1. You received an email with your company’s unique registration link and plan code. Click on the registration link from the email.

2. Fill out the registration form and click ‘Sign Up’.  

3. Proceed to the True North assessment and follow the instructions carefully to complete the assessment. (Instructions are available in multiple languages but you must navigate the page in English.)

4. After completing the assessment, you will be presented with your True North score and CEFR equivalency. Now, return to your email.

5. You have received a second confirmation email to complete your registration. Click the link in the confirmation email. (Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.)

6. Fill out the personal information form. Please be specific about your job title and interests, especially those related to your professional field. (3-5 interests minimum)

7. Click “I have a plan code” and complete your registration using the code provided in the first email.

8. Speaking of Code sessions are scheduled in advance at the same time each week. Finally, use the following form to select the times that you’re available. Please list all times you’re available:
