Post your NEI Target Score and English Goals in a visible area (on your refrigerator, in your office, etc.). Tell people about your goals for English!

<Reading>

- Read an English storybook to your children at bedtime.
- Go to an English news site and find interesting articles.

<Vocabulary>

When writing sentences with new vocabulary, making them as applicable to your life helps with remembering them.

<Listening>

Watch TV dramas and/or Youtube in English without subtitles once a week with a friend or spouse. Discuss the movie in English.

<Speaking>

- Treat the Replay Challenge Question (RCQ) like a mini-presentation each week. You don't read from a piece of paper for a presentation, so you shouldn't for your RCQ either! Practice a couple of times in the mirror working from NOTES before you record your answer, and then deliver it again at the 1:1.

- Make English-speaking friends. Or speak English with your Japanse friends or colleagues during lunch. Please make sure to schedule this event such as Meet Jack on Wednesdays at 19:00.

<Writing>

- Write at least 200 words for Extra English.

- Keep a journal in English everyday. Do not worry about being right or wrong or your handwriting. You will be switching into English mode.
