NEI assesses the speaking and listening skills of new students on this 40-point scale, with a total of 10 points possible in each: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and fluency.
The overall score aggregates these 4 individual scores. NEI does not typically evaluate Reading, Writing, or Integrated Skills.
Students are assessed on their progress every 24 lesson units (1 lesson unit = one 1:1 + Replay Challenge™ + Extra English).
There is not a one-to-one correlation between NEI and the CEFR or TOEIC framework; this is a general comparison.
